Overview
GainFuelAI (“GainFuelAI,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides nutrition planning, meal and hydration tracking, fitness programs, workout tracking, progress tools, AI-powered recommendations, reminders, subscriptions, and customer support.
This Privacy Policy applies to information handled through the GainFuelAI mobile application, associated web pages, account deletion page, support services, and related infrastructure.
By using GainFuelAI, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. Some optional features require you to choose to provide additional information, such as a profile photo, support attachment, phone number, or meal image.

- Weight logs, progress history, achievements, and streaks
- Food preferences and information used for recommendations
Content you provide
- Support-chat messages and optional image attachments
- Feedback and other information sent to support
- Photos selected for profile or meal-related features
Subscription information
- Purchased subscription product
- Subscription tier and billing period
- Purchase, renewal, expiration, restore, and refund status
- Store-issued transaction identifiers required for verification
App, analytics, and device information
- App screens viewed and features used
- Button interactions and navigation events
- App version, platform, and general device information
- Firebase Cloud Messaging registration tokens used for push notifications
- Limited diagnostic and performance information used to maintain the service
GainFuelAI does not request broad access to your complete photo
library for occasional photo selection. Supported devices use the
operating system’s photo picker so you can choose the specific
photo you want to provide.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Create, authenticate, and manage user accounts
- Provide personalized nutrition and fitness functionality
- Calculate goals and display progress
- Generate meal, nutrition, and workout recommendations
- Store meal, water, weight, and workout history
- Provide transformation programs and achievements
- Upload and display a user-selected profile photo
- Analyze user-selected meal photos when requested
- Send enabled reminders, broadcasts, and support replies
- Verify subscriptions, purchases, restores, and refunds
- Respond to support requests
- Prevent unauthorized access and protect account security
- Understand feature usage and improve app reliability
- Comply with legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations
We do not use personal health information for unrelated advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
Health and Fitness Data
GainFuelAI processes nutrition, weight, hydration, fitness, and progress information to provide the health and fitness features requested by the user.
Health and fitness information may be stored so progress remains available when a user signs in again or uses another supported device.
GainFuelAI provides general nutrition and fitness information and
is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis,
or treatment. Users should consult a qualified healthcare
professional regarding medical conditions or significant changes
to diet or exercise.
Photos and Camera
Photos are collected only when a user voluntarily selects or captures an image for a supported feature, including:
- Updating a profile photo
- Submitting a meal image for food-scanning functionality
- Attaching an image to an in-app support conversation
Selected profile and support photos may be stored in secure cloud storage. Meal images may be processed to provide the requested nutritional result.
Camera access is requested only when a user chooses a feature that requires capturing a new image. GainFuelAI does not collect user videos unless a future feature clearly requests and discloses video collection.
Artificial Intelligence
GainFuelAI may use AI services to generate meal suggestions, nutritional guidance, and other requested recommendations.
Information necessary to complete an AI request may be sent to an AI service provider. We seek to limit information sent to what is reasonably necessary for the requested feature and do not send payment credentials or authentication passwords to AI providers.
AI-generated content may be inaccurate and should be reviewed by the user. AI recommendations do not replace advice from a qualified medical or nutrition professional.
Analytics and Diagnostics
GainFuelAI uses PostHog to understand how users interact with the app, such as screen views, feature usage, and general app interactions. This information helps us evaluate functionality, identify issues, and improve the user experience.
Production analytics may include app version, device platform, event timestamps, and account- or installation-associated identifiers. We do not use the Android Advertising ID unless that practice is separately implemented and disclosed.
Testing builds may include additional local diagnostic logging. Local debug files are intended for troubleshooting and are not automatically uploaded unless a user deliberately provides them to support.
Notifications and Device IDs
GainFuelAI uses notification registration tokens and related installation information to deliver enabled:
- Meal and hydration reminders
- Weight and workout reminders
- Account and subscription notices
- Administrative announcements
- Support-chat replies
Users can control supported notification categories through app settings and operating-system settings. Notification tokens may change when the app is reinstalled, the user changes devices, or the notification provider rotates the token.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing on Android and Apple’s in-app purchase system on iOS where available.
GainFuelAI does not directly receive or store complete payment-card numbers. The applicable app store processes payment credentials. We receive and retain limited purchase information needed to:
- Verify subscription ownership
- Activate the appropriate subscription tier
- Process restores and subscription changes
- Determine expiration and renewal status
- Manage refund-support requests
- Prevent duplicate or fraudulent entitlement claims
Cancellation and refund decisions may also be governed by the applicable app store’s terms and policies.
GainFuelAI is currently available through Google Play. Apple App
Store availability and Apple in-app purchases are coming soon.
Data Retention
GainFuelAI retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account security, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

After an approved account-deletion request, GainFuelAI begins
deleting personal account data. The active-account deletion is
normally completed within 24 hours. Limited backup, transaction,
security, fraud-prevention, or legally required records may remain
for the period necessary to satisfy those purposes and are not
used to provide an active user profile.

Open Account-Deletion PageAccount deletion generally removes the profile, nutrition and meal history, water records, workout history, weight and progress records, favorites, notification records, support content, and user-uploaded files associated with the account.
Certain purchase, refund, fraud-prevention, security, or legal records may be retained when required or permitted by law. Any retained information is limited to the purpose requiring its retention.
Clearing notifications or resetting a tracking category inside the app is separate from deleting the entire account.
Security
GainFuelAI uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including:
- Encrypted HTTPS/TLS network connections
- Authenticated access to user accounts
- User-scoped database access controls
- Restricted server-side subscription verification
- Controlled storage access for supported files
- Token and credential handling safeguards
- Monitoring and remediation of invalid notification tokens
No electronic transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security. Users should maintain a strong password and avoid sharing account credentials.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access information associated with your account
- Correct or update profile information
- Choose whether to provide optional data
- Change notification preferences
- Clear supported tracking or notification information
- Withdraw permission through device settings
- Request account and associated-data deletion
- Object to or restrict certain processing where applicable
Removing a permission may prevent the related feature from functioning. For example, denying camera access prevents capturing a new meal photo but does not prevent use of unrelated app features.
Children’s Privacy
GainFuelAI is not directed to children below the minimum age permitted by the app’s terms, store listing, or applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child who is not legally permitted to use the service.
If a parent or legal guardian believes that an ineligible child has provided personal information, they should contact us so the account and associated information can be reviewed and removed.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in GainFuelAI, legal requirements, security practices, or service providers.
The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Where required, we may also provide an in-app notice or request consent before materially different processing begins.

Account and Data Deletion Requests
Users can request deletion of their GainFuelAI account and associated personal data directly inside the app by opening the Profile section and selecting Delete Account.
After the request is confirmed, it is submitted immediately to the GainFuelAI administration team for review. Once approved, the account and associated personal data are scheduled for permanent deletion within 24 hours, except for limited information that must be retained for legal, financial, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
